Our Graphic design team is the best in the business; we create highly effective, well-designed, high-quality digital art for ads (multiple industry magazines), catalogs, posters, tradeshow materials, pop displays, and packaging/materials for our entire model line. We also have plenty of marketing and identity opportunities for our new full-size racing team. We’re looking for a highly talented and energetic graphic designer who can juggle small projects as well as manage their own large projects. You must be able to multi-task and make tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have an excellent design portfolio demonstrating expert abilities in Adobe CS3 applications, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver in a Macintosh environment. Flash skills and the ability to contribute to web development are a big plus.
Traxxas is located in Plano, Texas. Local candidates in the Dallas and surrounding areas preferred. Portfolios are absolutely required. Online portfolios preferred. Be sure to include links with your resume.
Requirements:
• A Bachelors degree and 3-5 years of related experience
• Demonstrated excellent design ability
• Strong Portfolio!
• Self-motivated, good communication skills, comfortable following direction
• Excellent knowledge of CS3 applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver)
• Strong Knowledge of trapping, 4-color process, spot color production art for pre-production digital output.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills and time management skills
• A “yes we can do that” attitude
• A passion for design and the ability to quickly develop an understanding and a passion for our products.
• Personal or professional involvement with ‘enthusiast’ hobbies, radio control, or other performance-based hobbies is a plus.
