The Most Powerful Electric Monster!

The electric E-Maxx has all the great suspension, driving, and upgrade capability of the T-Maxx but with our exclusive 14-volt electric power system. Twin Titan® 550 fan-cooled motors are fed over 14-volts by dual 6-cell battery packs in series. The Traxxas-designed and built EVX-2 programmable electronic speed control delivers smooth forward, reverse, and braking control. Blister the earth with wheelie-popping launches, then shift the transmission into second gear with your TQ-3 transmitter for incredible top speed, and finally stop on a dime with the EVX-2’s powerful brakes. E-Maxx allows you to upshift or downshift the transmission at any time!

 

Big Block Motors
Twin Titan fan-cooled 550 motors have 30% longer armatures than a standard 540 size motor for monster torque.

Dual Motor Drive System
The dual motors drive a completely sealed 2-speed gearbox. An adjustable slipper clutch system provides drive train protection and traction control.

High-Voltage Power System
The E-Maxx is now capable of 14-cell installation! This high-voltage power system combines the specially-wound 550 motors and the efficient electronic speed control for increased power, substantially reduced current draw, and long run times!

EVX-2 Forward/Reverse Speed Control
Equipped with Traxxas High-Current Connector! The EVX-2 delivers an incredible 14-plus volts, from two battery packs, making 14-volt, twin-motor setups more powerful than ever! Designed by Traxxas, the EVX-2 features three drive profiles, Thermal Shutdown Protection, and gold-plated battery connectors. It’s backed by the exclusive Traxxas Lifetime Electronics Warranty. The EVX-2 also includes patent-pending Training Mode™. This profile reduces the overall power output of the EVX-2 by 50% making it easier for young/new drivers to develop their control skills before unleashing full-power operation. Two-Speed Transmission
Shift on the fly from your transmitter! Select low gear for brutal acceleration and then use the grip-mounted shifter on the transmitter to grab high gear and insane top speed. Proportional
reverse in high or low is supplied by the electronic speed control.

That Famous Maxx Suspension
One of the hallmarks of the E-Maxx is its incredible WideMaxx™ 4-wheel independent suspension. Wicked long travel, nearly 4 inches at each wheel, is ready to take on just about the roughest terrain you can imagine. Eight oil-filled shocks (2 at each wheel) deliver that plush feel and 'bottomless' suspension travel the Maxx series trucks are famous for. The WideMaxx is fully tuneable for the track with up to 10 shock-mounting positions, adjustable front caster angle, front and rear toe, and front and rear camber angles.

Efficient Shaft Drive 4WD
Power is transferred to all four wheels efficiently with the proven shaft drive system from the T-Maxx.

High Ground Clearance
The unique E-Maxx chassis design offers maximum center ground clearance (over 4 inches) to eliminate the high-centering and chassis dragging that plague flat-chassis monster trucks. Plus it maintains that tall, authentic monster truck look.

Oil-Filled Ultra Shocks™
Traxxas oil-filled Ultra Shocks are fully tuneable for race-inspired performance. The spring pre-load is adjustable via precise clip-on spacers making it easy to know that each shock is adjusted to the same spec. Rubber pressure bladders prevent air pockets and foaming common with bladderless designs. Double o-ring seals in the shock body prevent leaking.

Semi-Tub Molded Chassis
The E-Maxx features a new, extra tough, molded composite chassis with battery cutouts that lower the center of gravity when using side-by-side racing-style battery packs. The battery holders accept both stick packs and side-by-side race packs.

Painted ProGraphix® body
The E-Maxx includes a uniquely designed crew cab truck body. This fresh body features many molded-in details and is designed to fit over the chassis like a glove. The truck will also arrive with one of our patent pending ProGraphix 6-color custom painted bodies and will also be professionally trimmed for quick and easy installation.

Full Ball Bearings
The entire drive train and wheels spin on 28 sealed ball bearings.

High-Torque Steering Servo
The included Traxxas 2055 high torque steering servo provides a whopping 80 oz./in. of torque to turn the truck's big tires with ease.

Ready-To-Race® (RTR)
The E-Maxx is sold Ready-To-Race® with Traxxas' 3-channel TQ-3 radio system and a painted ProGraphix body installed on the chassis.

Heavy-Duty Nylon Construction
The E-Maxx isn’t just made of plastic. Its parts are molded from various types of composite-filled nylon that strike the perfect balance of rigidity and resistance to breakage. Traxxas has been perfecting the formula for years! We can’t promise that you’ll never break something, but you can count on the E-Maxx for superior durability and you’ll be amazed at the kinds of crashes and daredevil stunts it can withstand.

Wheels/Tires
The wheels are molded from durable nylon and carefully engineered be strong with the least amount of weight. The monster 5.75-inch x 3.5-inch tires use foam inserts so that the tire carcass can be thinner and lighter. The wheels feature a metalized finish that provides the realistic look of real aluminum without the weight. It all adds up to lower rotating mass and quicker acceleration.

Parts Compatibility
E-Maxx utilizes the suspension and drivetrain from the T-Maxx so most replacement parts and optional accessories are already in hobby shop inventories.
