7.2-Volt, Deep-V Off-Shore Racer

The new Villain from Traxxas is the next generation of this best-selling, 7.2-volt, deep-V off-shore racer. The Villain is powered by the all-new XL-10™ Marine water-cooled electronic speed control. It features 3-drive profiles, reverse, one-button setup, and thermal shutdown protection. It’s housed along with the other electronics in a sealed radio box for trouble free, all-day running. Dual Stinger™ 540 modified motors, combined with dual steerable outdrives and hi-performance counter-rotating props, give the Villain extra punch, stability, and impressive top speed. The proven 31-inch deep-V hull slices through rough water that leaves hydros parked at the dock. The Traxxas Villain is feature-packed with power, performance, and fun. Plus, it delivers long run times from a single, economical 7.2V battery pack. The Villain is fully assembled and Ready-To-Race®, so it’s ready to launch just minutes out of the box for fun R/C boating action.

XL-10 Marine ESCFAST
The Villain uses the water-cooled XL-10M (marine) electronic speed control. At low speeds the fully proportional XL-10M allows precise dockside maneuvering in both forward and reverse. In the open water the high-frequency XL-10 Marine efficiently delivers 7.2 volts of power to the twin Stinger™ 540 modified motors. The water-cooled heat exchanger keeps the electronics operating at their optimum temperature.
PropellersSMOOTH
The surface-piercing propellers use full-size boat technology for speed and efficiency. The dual, steerable outdrive units direct the thrust for precise steering response. The trim angle of the outdrives can be adjusted to change how high the bow rides in the water.
Villain in ActionSTABLE
The Villain utilizes a proven 31-inch deep-V hull design that slices through rough, choppy water with ease. The proper weight balance and low center of gravity provides unsurpassed stability. Molded strakes in the hull, along with counter-rotating propellers, allow higher turning speeds.
Open ElectronicsRELIABLE
The Villain is equipped with a sealed radio box to help prevent water from damaging the electronics. You can count on the performance from the tough, molded ABS hull and durable, proven drivetrain. The BEC circuit in the electronic speed control maintains steering control, even when the batteries are nearly discharged. Built-in foam flotation provides extra security.
