Removing the top deck is quick and easy with the exclusive Twist Lock® fastening system. A simple quarter-turn twist is all it takes to gain fast access to the battery and electronics.

EVX-2 Marine Electronic Speed Control
The EVX-2 Marine electronic speed control connects two 6-cell battery packs for over 14-volts of awesome power. The EVX-2 Marine ESC features thermal shutdown protection, Traxxas High-Current Connectors, EZ-Set® push-button set-up, and a sealed remote on/off switch for added convenience and ease of use. High-frequency, high-voltage operation draws less current, making the Villain EX both fast and efficient, with long run times.

Water Cooling
A cooler speed control flows more current, more efficiently. The EVX-2 Marine electronic speed control is equipped with a water-cooled heat sink to take away power-robbing heat. The ingenious design relies on a new cutting-edge material that conducts heat, but not electricity. It allows all three banks to be joined without short-circuiting the transistors.

TQ™ Radio System
The Villain EX is a powerful, fast boat that requires a high-performance radio system. The included TQ (Top Qualifier) 2-channel pistol grip transmitter features high output for up to a quarter-mile range, electronic trim controls, servo reversing, and a low battery indicator.

Twin Titan® 550 Marine Fan-Cooled Motors
The Villain EX is powered by twin, fan-cooled, Titan 550 Marine motors. The 14+volt, high-output Titan motors feature armatures that are 30% longer than those used in standard 540 motors. These motors are matched to the props to provide the best overall performance and run time.

Sealed Radio Box
The sealed radio box protects the critical radio equipment and sensitive electronics from water. This helps the Villain EX to deliver many hours of trouble free performance boating. It's quick and easy and doesn't require flimsy unreliable tape.

Gear Reduction Drives
The Villain EX drive system uses dual drives, with adjustable 2:1 gear reduction. The blue-anodized, T6-aluminum motor plate and composite-nylon motor mounts provide rock-solid mounting for the two Titan 550 Marine motors. The gear ratio can be adjusted by simply changing the 32-pitch pinion gears on the motors.

Twin, Steerable Outdrives
The twin steerable outdrives direct the thrust from the efficient, surface piercing propellers for instant steering response and superior control. The trim angle is adjustable to precisely tune performance.

Full Color Decals
The intense graphics on the decal sheet are already die cut. Just peel and apply!

Fully Assembled, Ready-To-Race®
The Villain EX features professional factory assembly by Traxxas experts. Everything, including the radio system, is installed and ready to run. All that’s left for you to do is charge and install batteries (not included) and apply the die-cut decals. It’s easy!
