The Traxxas Lifetime Engine Replacement Plan now allows the exchange of a Traxxas nitro engine (TRX® Pro.15, TRX 2.5, or TRX 2.5R) for the ultimate power of the TRX 2.5R or TRX 3.3 Racing Engines. Nitro Rustler, Nitro 4-Tec, and Maxx truck owners can now easily and affordably upgrade to the same powerful and good looking TRX 3.3 Racing Engine that powers the top-of-the-line Revo®.

• What is it?

• How Does it Work?

• What Does it Cost?

The Lifetime Engine Replacement Plan allows you to exchange your worn out, burned up, or used up Traxxas TRX® Pro.15, TRX 2.5, or TRX 2.5R Racing Engine for a brand new TRX 2.5R or TRX 3.3 Racing Engine at 50% off of the current retail price of the new engine. It’s a no-questions-asked deal. No matter how badly your engine is worn or damaged, so long as it’s complete, it can be exchanged for a new one at the special price. It saves you both time and money over purchasing the parts and rebuilding the engine. Plus, you will have the peace of mind of a factory-fresh, completely new (not rebuilt) engine. It’s easy and a great deal! Make the exchange at your local hobby shop to save shipping and handling charges and get your new engine today! See your hobby dealer for details.

A new benefit to the Lifetime Engine Replacement Plan is that TRX 2.5 engines are automatically upgraded to the TRX 2.5R Racing Engine for no additional cost. The TRX 2.5R engines include the beautiful blue-anodized machined aluminum cooling head ($40 value!) and the special porting, at no additional charge.  The TRX 2.5R Racing Engine is a direct replacement for the TRX 2.5 Racing Engine.

The Lifetime Engine Replacement Plan works through your hobby dealer, or directly through Traxxas. You simply take your Traxxas nitro engine to be exchanged, along with a completed engine exchange form, to your local hobby dealer (or ship it to Traxxas). You will save both time and shipping and handling costs by making the exchange at your local hobby dealer.

The engine to be exchanged must be complete with head, carburetor, backplate, and all internal engine components. You will need to retain these parts for reuse: the EZ-Start® system, header, engine mount, flywheel, and clutch mechanism. See more details here on "Preparing the Engine for Exchange."
