The countdown is on... on Friday, May 15, the gates open at Texas Motor Speedway for Traxxas Off-Road Championship Series (TORC) racing under the lights! See the Traxxas racing team in action as Mike and Mark Jenkins wheel their Traxxas Pro 4X4 and Pro 2WD racing trucks in front of a hometown crowd, door-to-door with off-road racing's toughest competitors.
The TORC Series is THE premier short-course racing series, featuring the nation's top tracks, including Wisconsin's legendary Crandon Raceway, and the fastest drivers, including stars Jeff Kincaid, Rick Huseman, Scott Douglas, and Johnny Greaves--just to name a few!
Short-course racing is the ultimate in spectator-friendly off-road racing. Unlike rally and desert-racing events where the competitors may be separated by miles and the spectators are literally left in the dust as the racers speed out of sight, short-course racing pits racers against one another on closed-loop courses that allow spectators a full view of all the action, from start to finish. It's like Supercross with trucks! As the 900+ horsepower machines tear their way though the course, you'll see every jump...every pass...every wreck!
